Technical Sales Person

We are a major supplier of customized potting soils for the wholesale industry. Using the highest quality of commercial grade materials, we have built a reputation of efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and trends
  • Present and demonstrate products to potential clients
  • Work with customers to formulate custom mixes to help maximize success
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Education/Experience:

  • Experience growing in a commercial greenhouse/nursery
  • Post-secondary education in agriculture and/or soil sciences
  • Experience in sales is a bonus but not required
